Working around a lot of heavy machinery, I tend to bump my phone a great deal, and I thought this was the strongest case I could find for it. In that, I still think I was right, it's strong against impact and nicely padded.
But the drawbacks of a strong case so far have included having the plastic snapped off by the case when I got it caught, having a diminished signal to the phone (sometimes the difference between 3 bars and 1, sometimes no difference at all, hardly conclusive, I just know when I was losing signal, I'd drop it out of the case and I'd have signal again), and a case that can bend and stay bent. I also found it overlapped the swivel button on top a little bit, making it harder to use. It was exactly what I expected, but I don't think metal is the right material for a cell phone case anymore. I replaced it after two weeks.

My husband is in construction and has trouble keeping phones in-tact. This is a must-have for the BlackJack II! So far so good!

I rarely write product reviews, but I am very happy with this product. It is a very good case which fits the phone very well. It does not make the phone too bulky - I can still use my horizontal belt pouch with the metal case on there (I don't use the clip supplied with the case). The screen does seem to scratch easily (very minor scratches), but that would in no way take away from every other positive about this case. Good case. Good fit. A very nice product for a very reasonable price!
